Normandy to South Brittany
Our latests guests arrived last evening to stay in our French holiday cottage, they seem a very nice couple, they live in Normandy, Further North of where our Accommodation in France is. We are very pleased with our bookings for this year, we have beating last years total, which I didnt think we would of done.
I have been making a load of metal mackerel to get ready for my parents to take back to the UK with them when they come out to visit later in the month. When my parents went back in September after staying here for the summer, they took some of the metal art work with them, and put them in a gallery, one of the pieces was a shoal of mackerel on a colourwashed timber frame. Well it has sold and the gallery have asked for another 5 pieces the same. So I have been cutting them out, shaping and welding them all and today I am going to start painting them.
